Family crests, logos & branding
The Catella family recently moved away from New England for the first time as a family, straying even further from their Vermont homeland than ever. This big adjustment became the inspiration articulating their family values with a new family crest - to be proudly displayed throughout their new Maryland home.
The fir tree harkens back Vermont state official crest, and serves as the visual touchstone for the Catella family. The tree is surrounded by an enveloping heart shape, representing love, service, and acceptance, which the Catellas articulated as being the central values that guide their lives.
The hardest part of finalizing this crest was to decide on a color palette - you can see some of the many iterations we reviewed on display here.
